Friends Of Rector Drew School

FORDS have been given the opportunity to undertake a bagpack session at ASDA Queensferry on Saturday 28th June from 10am – 2pm. 

When other organisations bagpack at ASDA they regularly raise in the region of £400 in their timeslot so this is an excellent chance to raise some much needed funds for school.

Asda only allow children over 10 to assist and all children must be accompanied by an adult.  Therefore we are asking Year 6 pupils and parents to assist with this great opportunity to raise funds for the shcool.  If you can spare an hour or two to help please can you let us know the following details either via this blog or by completing the form sent home from school.

Welcome back everyone - I’m sure it’s a welcome relief to be back in routine!

We are holding our first FORDS meeting of the year on Wednesday 12th September at 3.30pm. 

Please come down and join us if you think you can help in any way with fundraising for our school.  Last year we had a small FORDS committee and although we organised some fantastic events (Springo ’springs’ to mind) and raised lots of money, we’d like to make this year even better!

We’re all busy people, running around after the kids, taking them to football or swimming etc, but if you could just spare half an hour here or there to help with our fundraising we’d be able to help create an even better learning environment for our children. 

Please come and join us – Wednesday 12th September, 3.30pm.  We’ll probably be in Mr Prytherch’s classroom but Mrs Jones in the office will be sure to direct you!  We’d love to see lots of new faces.
